U.S. not a Christian nation? S

A question I've been dying to know: Is the United States a Christian nation? The answer really depends on who you ask. Political correctness is so overbearing that we label our nation as a "nation of diversity" because we do not dare to insult anyone for speaking the truth. The liberal P.C. doctrine infringes on the lives of Americans so completely that the protection of the 1st Amendment of the Constitution is virtually nullified by the efforts of censorship-minded leftist activists. Plain, unadulterated truth is so finely controlled and denounced by the leftist faction of American society that the use of facts, common sense, correlating evidence, history, statistics, and imperical data is deemed virtually useless. If you want to reason with a liberal, you're going to be better served by playing a best-of-three game of rock-paper-scissors because your usage of insensitive words such as "most Americans are Christians" is simply far too brash and unreasonable. The liberal definition of deciphering the religious status of the nation is akin to ordering a jury to reach a verdict without the use of evidence or witness testimony - I'm certain that Democrats would approve of the verdict of a voodoo priestess though, because the deception of magic just makes more sense to liberals...... just as President Obama was expected to magically save our nation's economy, save jobs, save the whales, save the environment, save albino alligators, save Barbara Boxer from her own stupidity, save the lint from Barney Frank's belly button, and save the world from that horrible President Bush guy. How Obama is going to do all this is threefold - he will inject billions of dollars into the coffers of elitists and interest groups, throw billions of dollars into entitlement programs to solidify his voting base, and use magic. The only thing that Obama has accomplished thus far is to further divide Americans, magic notwithstanding, and evidenced by Obama's position on U.S. religion: "We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation...... We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values." Well, that's just peachy, but not really the answer to whether our nation is primarily influenced by Christianity or not.
Here's where we have to get really politically incorrect. First and foremost, a true fact can be stated that the U.S. government is mostly not Christian - look at the makeup of government and whom controls government right now. Furthermore, our system of government is that of a Constitutional Republic - we are not a theocracy and our Constitution clearly states in Article VI that "no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust in the United States" - you can bet your bottom dollar that Democrats follow this one law to the tee... Most also know that the 1797 Treaty of Tripoli made it pretty darned clear that "the government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion," just as the government "makes no law respecting an establishment of religion." Now, we can debate the quotes of the Founding Fathers all day long. I've read the quotes. I love the quotes. We can debate over exactly what view Thomas Jefferson had on organized religion. For that matter, we can debate whether Jefferson was actually a Unitarian or a Deist. We can debate the merits of the Jeffersonian Bible. We can debate the fact that Thomas Jefferson's "wall of seperation" was written in a private letter to the Dansbury Baptists in order to relieve them that the government would not endorse a national religion and thereby endanger the baptist church. We could further point out that Thomas Jefferson had little to do with writing the Constitution and that Jefferson's "wall of seperation" was not terminology used in the Constitution, subsequent legislation, or executive directive. We can also debate the fact that prior to the completion and ratification of the Constitution, the Constitutional Conventions began with prayer. We can debate the fact that Fisher Ames (the author of the 1st Amendment) was a staunch advocate of Bibles as the primary textbook in school classrooms. Perhaps, "some" government was very Christian during the Revolution while "some" government might not nave been. If we talk within the current context of the government of today, though, the U.S. government is simply not Christian - although basically every president in history has made references to God, prayer, or Jesus Christ during presidential speeches
..... but, U.S. society is primarily Christian. The politically correct way of describing our nation may be to say that "we are not a Christian nation" because the phrase makes liberals feel good about themselves, but the realistic way to describe our nation is to say "our government is not Christian, but our society is overwhelmingly Christian." Now before you start blurting out useless gibberish of "nuh uh... Barack said blah blah blah," understand that current statistics state that the U.S. is 78% Christian, 16% non-believing, 4% Jewish, .7% Buddhist, .6% Muslim, .4% Hindu, .2% Tom Cruise, and .8% too dumb to know what they are. If 78% of Christians is not enough of a mandate to make this country a Christian nation, then obviously Obama's 52% of the 2008 vote was not an indicator that Americans actually "voted for change," and thus, Obama is apparently not the President of the United States.
Lets compare to other nations:
India is described as a "Hindu" nation. Roughly 80% of Indians are Hindu. 12% of Indians are Muslim. 2% of Indians are Christian. India also has Buddhism, Sikhism, Jainism, Zoroastrianism, and a small percentage of non-believers. India is far more diverse in religion than the United States, but they are not so politically correct to deny that they are a Hindu nation.
Iran is a theocratic Islamic nation. The Iranian government mandates the practice of Islam and contends that 98% of Iranians are Muslim while the 2% of dissenters are awaiting death by hanging. Interestingly, a 2007 private study of Iranians whom completed a survey in secrecy to avoid government interference and persecution claimed that an average of 70% of Iranians claimed to be true practicing Muslims and close to 30% claimed no true religious affiliation while the remaining participants were quite diverse with Christianity, Zoroastrianism, Judaism, and various other religions peppered throughout the list. The accuracy of the polling data is unknown, but probably relatively close considering the widespread dissent and dissatisfied public mood with the Iranian government. The irony of U.S.- Iranian relations is that President Obama supported the scandalous reelection of Iran's Ahmadinejad more than Iranians did. Regardless though, if 98% of Iranians are Muslim or 70% of Iranians are Muslim, is Iran still a Muslim nation?
China is a very good case study of a kinda, sorta, really, really religious society. The Chinese government's official position is that God does not exist and the government prefers for Chinese citizens to agree and worship the government instead - perhaps the Chinese and American government is remarkably similar..... Interestingly though, while Chinese officials withhold religion from the Chinese, we know that many, many Chinese are quite religious. Buddhism is the most widely practiced religion in China with estimates of 100 million to 660 million Buddhists practioners. While the esimates are widely variant, the one thing that is certain is that there are still a lot of Buddhists in China. The Chinese, being cravenly P.C. as most communists are, insist that Chinese are atheists - how can half a billion potential Buddhists be labeled as atheists? For that matter, why do Chinese authoritarians believe that it is P.C. to label the followers of a religion as "atheists"? Is it merely to be assumed that P.C. governments will simply deny religion even if a certain religion is the dominating belief of a nation? Even more, imagine if I called a U.S. atheist a Christian - can you imagine the ensuing horror of the extreme defamation. I would be charged with hate crimes, labeled as "insensitive," liberal bloggers would scream and shout, legislation would be passed to ensure fairer treatment of the religiously challenged, and libel suits would be placed against me. The overwhelming concensus seems to be that power hungry governments view God, and more often the Judeo-Christian God in the case of the United States, as a threat to the power of imperialistic governance.
So in summation, America is a Christian nation, but our government is not. Unusual for me to compromise but I just wouldn't want to hurt anybody's feelings....

Will we allow stimulus money (your money) be given to people spending it wildly and crazy?Will we allow cap and trade to be passed and pay almost 3 times higher energy bills? Will we let a sitting President make apoligies for who we the people are? Will we let the goverment make our children go to school on saturdays and longer hours? Will we allow this administration target fox news because he doesnt like them? Will we allow the tea party free people be told we are dangerous and stupid and all sorts of sick names. Will we be weak and let the left bring toal communism into our country? Will we allow the likes of acorn run our goverment? Will we let unions run our goverment?Will we allow the goverment to cencor or shut down our free speech?Will we wait untill the goverment has set up a inescapable trap before we stop this takeover. Will we stand by and watch all this and much much more happen while we go about life as if it isnt happening?

Like Venezuelan Dictator Hugo Chavez on steroids, US Dictator-in-Chief Barack Hussein Obama and his Marxist-Democrat Party are continuing their fast and furious drive to enslave We-the-People and take over as the aristocratic ruling body of the former United States of America.
Behind the scene and closed doors, Obama is continuing his dark mission of the ongoing takeover of all major US businesses and creating an atmosphere that will disallow small to medium sized businesses to exist. And, like his Marxist mentor Saul Alinsky, Obama despises the middle-class (they have traditionally wielded too much power for Obama to allow) as well as the USA. Therefore, Obama will continue to work towards ensuring increasing unemployment of this class so that they/we no longer have any strength at all.
Other than being a pro-Obama government-funded worker or an ObamaCzar working for his or her master, virtually no jobs have been or will be created by the Obama pretender to the throne. The country’s unemployment now stands at the state-run media figure of 10.2%. However, the real figure for those out of work nationally—even according to the leftist NY Times—is 17.5%. This is the highest unemployment figure since the Great Depression and there appears to be nothing to stop the tyrant from forcing it even higher. It is being affected on purpose by an individual and his political cronies whose mission was and is to destroy the USA by gutting its money and resources (placing it in their own and their friends’ pockets), removing the US Constitution by refusing to follow it, doing away with the freedoms inherent in the Bill of Rights, removing the companies that produce jobs so that the middle-class can no longer find work (thus making it dependent on the whims of the ObamaGov), removing the rights of humans to their own bodies and decision making with the Machiavellian ObamaCare, making it impossible to survive (except to go back to living in grass huts or caves) via Obama’s Cap and Trade proposal and, overall, removing the American way of life and placing its citizens into permanent bondage.
On top of it all, he seems to be pushing for the deaths of even more US soldiers in Afghanistan (and further demoralizing our troops) by refusing to do anything to either win in or remove our troops. Obama is also, more and more of late, praising his Muslim religion and those who practice it. After Islamic jihadist (and of all things a US Army officer) Nidal Malik Hasan summarily slaughtered 13 soldiers, wounded 38 more and yelled Allahu Akbar (meaning “God is greater [than your God]”) Obama said in no more than an aside “don’t jump to conclusions.” Huh? There is only one conclusion possible—if one follows the rules of both logic and common sense. Hasan is a terrorist. He had also had conversations with an Al Qaeda leader. And to rub salt into an already infected American wound, Obama had already appointed two devout Muslims to posts in US Homeland Security and regularly praises Ramadan while asking that a Christian cross be covered when he spoke at Georgetown University. Muslims do not like either Judaism or Christianity. In fact, they are taught by the Quran to both hate and kill Jews and Christians. And one thing they have been excellent at for hundreds is years, however, is slavery.
Are you still convinced that We-the-People can handle this takeover of everything that is [was?] American can be done peacefully? And how many US judges does Obama now control?

What about in Psalms when he tells us, “Blessed are they who maintain justice”, or in Deuteronomy when he says, “Follow justice and justice alone”? In Isaiah He tells us, “Learn to do right! Seek Justice”! I recently read that the Bible contains the word “Justice” over 200 times. Please help me understand how we are honoring Christ by ignoring TRUTH and JUSTICE?
If the evidence was highly speculative or inconclusive, I might not so easily question the Church’s motive here. However, this is not the case. The evidence clearly and overwhelmingly proves that the “official” story is nothing but lies, and it is equally evident that high level officials within our own government helped carry out the attacks which murdered 2,993 innocent American citizens on 9/11. The same criminals who carried out these attacks have murdered millions more innocent people around the world as a result of these evil and unjust acts against humanity.
When asked what is the greatest commandment was Jesus responded, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it. Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40)
Many of the 9/11 victim’s families are demanding a new and open investigation into the events that destroyed their families. I challenge you to watch the documentary “9/11: Press for Truth” from start to finish and ask God if we are honoring His second most important commandment by ignoring these families and their pleas for help. I believe that the God of TRUTH and JUSTICE will deeply convict you, just as He has convicted me. This may be the toughest, but most meaning way God will ever used you in all your years of faithful service. I will be praying for God to grant you the strength and courage to handle this in the manner which will bring the most glory and honor to His name.
Dr. Dobson, the evidence is so abundant and clear that I can not help but believe that the leadership of the Christian Church is actively supporting these evil murderous liars through silence. I will give you the benefit of the doubt, and assume that you have never personally searched for the TRUTH regarding what really happened to nearly 3,000 of our fellow countrymen on 9/11. However, I hope that as a man of God you will follow His word and seek TRUTH and JUSTICE for what really happened. The Bible says you will know a man by his fruits. I interpret this along the same lines as, “actions speak louder than words”. This is how we are judged by non-believers, by our actions. It’s time to put on the full armor of God, and prepare for battle.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. (11) Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. (12) For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (13) Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Once again, I have to be the mature one. I hate being me, I care too much, I've always cared too much for other people. But don't you think people are being unfair? It's turning into a mob scene and I don't mean the song. People are pointing their fingers at a select of people and blaming them for all their problems. This has happened before. The witch hunts in Europe and North American in the 1400s to 1700s, the Holocaust where the Germans blamed the Jews for all their problems and now it's going to start. Some of us are trying to prevent it. The only way for this to end is for someone to stand up and say stop. So yes, I'm standing on a milk crate...I really don't want to, but I know this is wrong, so I'm going to. I gave this same speech to my republican friend and he hugged me and said. "I understand hippie, I understand. Now sit your butt down you're blocking the TV" Aren't friends great, especially when they're your polar opposite? FYI I call him GOP Boy.
So, you think all muslims are killers? Really? Hmm, funny. During the crusades, the Christians fought the muslims for their "holy land" and you don't think they spared everyone? I kinda doubt it. It's not the right thing or the wrong...it was just a tragic thing because both sides had their reasons. Today, both sides still have their reasons. They still see this as a holy war, we're trying to kill them off. We know that's not true, they don't know that and if you keep talking like that. Someone not so nice to going overhear and it will get out to the wrong people. You'll be partially responsble for more needless bloodshed. And you can't say all Muslims are bad. You haven't met them all. I've only met five in my life. Three girls and two guys. The girls for the most part never said much, they only spoke if you spoke to them directly, so when people made fun of them, they would shy away, if they made of them in front of me, they got hit, hard. I didn't protect the girls, I taught the bullies a lesson in tolerance.
The two guys, oh they were funny, short, but funny. Amir and Abid. I met Amir in middle school. He was a talented artist, but people knew he was born in Iraq, moved to the US when he was four. Never did anything wrong, he could write in Arabic. His US history sucked, so I helped him. He sat right behind me. Never complained, he knew I was from DC, but never asked why my family decided to move, it was obvious, it was October 2001, a lot of people moved away from the area never to return. One day, people started to call him Osama. I couldn't do anything, I was new, and he asked not to. I don't why he didn't want me to. I don't know if he just didn't want a girl to help or he was protecting him. I never chance to ask. Two days later, he was beaten serverely by another student. Math textbook, heavy. Eight stitches, a black eye and crack rib. His family moved and I haven't seen him since. Just because he was from Iraq and he was muslim. Abid was my boss at my first job, also short, we called Canada, because his parents were from Pakistan, but he was born in Canada. He was also very nice, we never bothered him, especially during the holidays, his holidays. Ramadon was interesting, he would crane his neck out during sunset. One day he asked why. He said during Ramadon, they fasted until sundown. Stupid co-worker walks by and says "You really should convert." If looks could kill...oh if looks could kill. I quickly stepped in and said "He didn't mean it, he's being himself." Abid ignored him and went back to looking at the sun. Than he would order pizza. Olives...he ordered plain olive pizza. Gross...but he never asked us to participate. He'd watched us eat at noon and encourage us to eat what we could before the customers rushed in. Another nice guy, he moved back to Canada when the theater closed down.
Do you get what I'm saying? Saying every muslim is bad. Saying that they should just hire Christian and Jewish Arabs is no different from me saying that every white protestant is bad. Here are two things they will NEVER do: They will NEVER admit to making a Blunder out of all proportion by electing a snake-oil salesman with no Positive social history or management experience of any kind.. They will NEVER take responsibility for the curse they've imposed upon the immediate and long-term future of their country.
In essence, the people responsible for putting this horror show in power are themselves responsible for every cataclysmic decision he makes and the Consequences thereof.

Even though he might be able to Muscle a Healthcare Reform Bill by using Chicago BULLY tactics against his Fellow Democrats, it will just make things worse. On Cap and Trade (Cap and Tax) - The Fat-Lady is already singing. On the Stimulus Package (Tax and Spend) - His popularity is in FREE-FALL. On the TARP package he took and ran With from President Bush -It's all but Good-Night Irene. On the closing of GITMO and "HIS" war on what he no longer wants called the War On Terrorism - He's standing in quicksand with his head just about to go under. On a Comparison between himself and George W Bush at the same six months into Their respective first term Presidencies - Bush is ahead of him in the Polls. On a comparison between He Who Walks On Water and the 12 preceding Presidents between WW II and now - Obama ranks 10th. On a Poll just Conducted, that asks who would you vote for today between Obama and Mitt Romney - It's a dead heat. Between Obama and Palin - Obama's ONLY ahead by 8 Points and she hasn't even begun to campaign. It seems to me that Obama Wants to be everywhere where he shouldn't be.
He's personally invested in [totally insulting] America 's ONLY REAL Middle Eastern ally ( Israel ) in favor of Palestinian Despots and Murderers. He's traveling the world apologizing for the USA while lecturing others on how to do it right, when in fact and truth he has no experience at doing anything other than getting elected.
He went to the Moslem world in Egypt to declare that America IS NOT A CHRISTIAN NATION while he heaped praises on Islam, where he compared the "plight" of the Palestinians to the Holocaust.
The Russians think he's a putz, The French think he's rude.
The Germans want him to stop spending.
The Indians want him to mix his nose out of their environmental business.
The North Koreans think he's a joke, The Iranians won't acknowledge his calls.
And the British can't even come up with a comprehensive opinion of him.
As for the Chinese, he's too frightened to even glance their way. [After All, China now owns a large portion of the United States .]
Maybe if America 's first Emperor would stay home more, travel less, and work A little bit instead of being on television just about everyday or stop running to "papered" Town Hall Meetings and taking softball questions from the media; Perhaps he would have a little bit of time to Do the work of the nation.
In all fairness, it wasn't HARD to be RIGHT in my prediction concerning Obama's presidency, even in its first six months, so I'm going to make yet another prediction:
OBAMA WILL PROBABLY NOT FINISH HIS 4-YEAR TERM, at least not in a Conventional way.
He is such a political HORROR SHOW, and so detrimental to the USA and his Own Democratic Party, that the Democrats themselves will either FORCE him to Resign or figure out a way to have him thrown out.
Who knows, maybe he really isn't a BORN US Citizen and that's a way the Democrats will be able to get rid of him. [He is a citizen, but not a naturalized citizen with both mother and father being US citizens.]
Or - MORE LIKELY THAN NOT, the Democrats will make Obama THEIR OWN LAME DUCK PRESIDENT.
I don't believe the Democrats have nearly as much love for their country as they do for their own political fortunes. And with Obama, their fortunes are rapidly becoming toast.
The Democrats can keep on blaming Bush for EVERYTHING, but that game's already begun to wear real thin.
Their mantra was "WE DON'T WANT 4 MORE YEARS," which the STUPID people bought, since McCain was nothing at all like George W Bush.
The new mantra will soon become: "WE DON'T WANT 6 MORE MONTHS."And remember folks, he wrote this several months ago . . .

Little known horror stories

"You can't hide it from me, I know what you fear..." The words whispered by Darth Phobos in my Star Wars Force Unleashed video game. Every has some form from fear from spiders to drowning to even small things, like a fear of chipmunks and clowns. What do I fear? Well, to be honest, drowning, I can swim, but still here in Florida, there are always sharks and seaweed to slow you down a bit. But when the chips are down and you are facing your greatest fear, how far will you go to survive? This is a story I don't tell too often, because the last time I told it, someone actually sort of...threw up. I don't blame him this story turns my stomach a bit too, so I'm warning you if you're eating, you might not want to read on.
It takes place in some settlement back when the US was still called "The New World." It was winter and people were growing ill. The undertaker couldn't keep up with the coffins. So much so, he had to design a false bottom coffin. These weren't uncommon. What you would do is place the body in the coffin during the service, but instead of lowering it into the earth, you would instead hit a switch and the bottom would open like a trap door. When winter came however, the ground became too hard. The young priest meanwhile couldn't stand to see his people starve, so he met the undertaker one night to have a talk and to discuss a plan to keep his basement from getting full...
The winter was hard on the people, many died, but the priest told them not to worry because he had sent hunters out to find meat. Than he would smoke it in a hut so they'd have meat all winter. Than one day, the priest served the dried meat to the villages. There was finally hope and food and it was well preserved. So the people ate. But people still died.
When spring came, the familiy's came to get the bodies. The undertaker explained to keep them from rotting and causing curious creatures from coming, he had to burn them, so he gave each family charred bones in a box. They were upset of course, but took the remains. However when they started hunting again, they realized the deer, rabbit and other meat tasted very different from the meat the priest had given them, so they asked. Being pious, he told them the truth. The meat had come from the basement of the undertaker's house. They had eaten their family and friends to survive the winter. Now you would normally think that the villagers would've killed the priest, but...well, no. Instead they commended him for saving them from starving and broke away from the christian faith (personally I don't know it this was a sin in the christianity, because techincally they didn't kill anyone...) and started a new one that said killing and eating people was okay, in fact it was the right thing to do to "save them" from a horrible life of suffering. This was the first cult to ever form in America. They say that travelers or Native Americans who came into the settlement were welcomed, fed and given a place to sleep, however during the night, someone either a farmer, or his wife would come in and take their lives from butcher knives to pitchforks. Whenever a group of people came in, it was worse then the ganados of RE 4 (see pic below) they would flay them alive and not touch the oxen or horses.
Before long, people did realize that entire caravans and even members of local Native American tribes were missing and the only link was that area. So the army was sent in. They sent one man in, he didn't come back, so they all went in only to meet with the villagers. It's said this is where the undertaker, priest and many of the villagers were killed, but a few lived and moved into the mountains. Now this is where the story varies, some say the survivors died out in what is now Montana, others say they still live on the mountains bordering Canada and the US and if you get lost...they'll find you skin you alive and put irons on your flesh, because they like their meat...a little rare.
Gross, but I'm not sure if this story is true or not, it was told to me by a friend who lived in Idaho for a few years. I think she made most of it up, but still you never know what goes through a person's head. I mean, imagine coming into a village and seeing people like these video game characters coming at you trying to kill you.
But enough of the cannibal stories. Yesterday's horror monster...once again I thought it would be easy, I mean a big guy with a triangle on his head...he's called by fans "Pyramid Head" and some call him "The executioner" or "The Red Pyramid" or simply "The Fiend" from Silent Hill 2. He is second to few horror monsters because he is the most violent and ruthless person/demon or whatever I've ever seen. According to the game, he was "created" by the town's people "idolatrous ideologies", his outfit is similar to executioners of the past. He carries a large sword he can wield with ease or a spear that he is skilled with. Fans had mixed feelings when they heard he'd be in the Silent Hill movie, but they won't disappointed. I won't tell you why or what he did, but he probably added a few points to his ruthlessness rep. Second to few, Pyramid Head has haunted more than one gamer's nightmares.
Now this creature isn't as hardcore, violet, or really as dangerous as Pyramid Head, but they are pains in more ways than one. This is a creature you can only find in the game Resident Evil Outbreak. And it's nothing to take lightly, even though it doesn't look all that dangerous. It won't give you nightmares, but it will remind you that looks are deceiving...and this was the only good picture of it I could find.

They are young Australians who paid the ultimate price, losing their lives at war - but now their families have allegedly been targeted by self-styled Muslim cleric Sheik Haron in an anti-war campaign. Finally, after an alleged two-year letter-writing spree that has devastated the families of seven Diggers who died in Afghanistan, Haron faces criminal charges. In the letters he allegedly wrote to grieving parents and wives of the Diggers - one addressed to a widow, care of a funeral home - he apparently accused some of the dead Australian soldiers of being "criminals", "killers" and "murderers" fighting a war of invasion. Haron has penned letters to the families of Michael Fussell, Gregory Sher, Mathew Hopkins, Brett Till, Jason Marks, Luke Worsley and Benjamin Ranaudo. One of Haron's letters was allegedly hand-delivered to Brett Till's widow Breeanna at his funeral.
Counter-terrorism police arrested Haron, 45, - an Iranian-born immigrant who claims to be a Muslim spiritual leader - at his Croydon Park home on Tuesday. Sydney's Joint Counter Terrorism Team, comprising Australian Federal Police and NSW Police, also visited two other addresses, at Campsie and Green Valley. Haron was charged on Tuesday night with seven counts of "using a postal service or similar service to menace, harass, or cause offence" and was granted bail to appear in court next month.
Yesterday, he told The Daily Telegraph he would fight the charges and was seeking legal advice. "I was in the custody of the AFP for a while, a few hours . . . then I was released. I believed that I am innocent, of course. Later I can explain everything." Haron has posted the letters he allegedly sent on a website attributed to him. In a letter to Gregory Sher's family, he allegedly wrote: "I feel bad that you have lost your son but I don't feel bad that a murderer of innocent civilians has lost his life." Sher family friend Ben Hirsh said he was aware a number of grieving families had allegedly received anti-war letters. "Getting any anti-war letters is disgusting," he said. Private Luke Worsley's father John said: "You have just got the news of the loss of your son and then this happens."
Now there would be an outrage if a Christian did the same thing at a Muslim funeral. Muslims in Australia have been given a free pass to do whatever they want. In 1915 two Turks attacked a civilian passenger train in New South Wales. They did it to fight the enemies of Allah. The Australians (including both of my great grand fathers), was just about to fight the Turks at Gallipoli. Turkey allied itself with Germany.
On New Years Day 1915, Broken Hill was the scene of the only enemy attack on Australian soil when, only four months before the Anzacs fought the Turks at Gallipoli, a picnic train on its way to Silverton came under attack. On New Years Day 1915, the Local Branch of the Manchester unity Order of Oddfellows was to celebrate its annual picnic. At 10 o’clock the picnickers set out, pack in a train of ore-trucks on the Silverton Tramway.
The train had gone only two miles when an ice-cream cart flying the Turkish flag was noticed beside the railway line. Nearby on the bank of the long pipeline, from Umberumberka dam were two men with rifles. Originally thought to be shooting rabbits, the two men were pouring their gunfire into the crowed ore trucks. Three Picnickers died – one woman and two men – and another six were seriously injured. The two gunmen were locals of Indian/Afghan origin and Turkish Sympathisers. The elder was Mullah ‘Abdullah, a long-time Broken Hill butcher, and the younger was Goal Mahammed, an ice-cream vendor. As soon as the train was clear of danger a telephone message was sent to the police. A number of police, together with as many soldiers as could be gathered and some rifle club members, hurried out to the scene.
Meanwhile the two attackers, called at a cottage and shot its occupant. They then retired to rocky hill where one of the police who came upon them unexpectedly was wounded. The fight lasted till past noon in which some of the local Indians (from India) among others helped the police. Many of the infuriated citizens of Broken Hill attributed it to German agitation. The German Club was burned that night by a crowd. The police and soldiers had difficultly in preventing an attack on the camp of ‘Afghan’ camel drivers outside the town. The following day, one of the mines took steps to rid itself of employees of enemy nationality. Mr. Hughes, Attorney-General of the Commonwealth remarked that the incident pointed to the danger of leaving enemy subjects at large.

What’s in a Blessing?
If you are a patriot, and love this great nation, and all that it stands for; you have most likely without a doubt used the Phrase “God Bless America” many times throughout your life, or perhaps proudly raised your voice as you joined in with others at the opening of a sports event; singing God Bless America. But what does the phrase or song mean? Have you ever given it any serious thought?
Many thoughts may come to mind, various causes, goals, and freedoms, Americans have proudly fought for, strived to obtain, and died for; for over two hundred and thirty three years. No doubt any patriotic American Christian can come up with a vast list of reasons god should bless America. We are a Christian people and nation; and built this country on Christian and biblical principles or at least tried to. And it appears god has looked down upon us with favor, as never in the history of mankind has such a young nation become so great and accomplished so much and fought so hard for the common man’s rights to equality, and justice than did us Americans.
But do all these reasons justify us in asking our creator to bestow upon us and shower us with his favor and grace? Many would argue yes we deserve his blessing. And many would oppose and prefer the All Mighty curse and destroy this nation. And then of course there are those who deny the very existence of god and for that reason alone want the word god or any reference or mention of him removed from all documents, public buildings, money, our schools etc. they want a god free society and government.
In any event there are many schools of thought, and opinions about America through out the world. So let’s take a closer look at exactly what we are asking of our Creator when we say God Bless America.
We first have to examine what exactly is a blessing. And then evaluate whether or not we worthy of our creator bestowing his blessing upon us. And finally we must decide if we really want the Almighty Creators blessing. At face value it appears to be a no brainer; sure, who in their right mind wouldn’t want God’s blessing.
What exactly does the word bless mean? It occurs and is used many times as a translation in our bible from the original Hebrew and or Greek scriptures via into our modern English version of the bible.
Most people would say in general terms it means to wish upon someone good future, health, happiness, or good things of any kind from god….
OK… fair enough; so when we say “God Bless America” we are wishing or asking the Almighty for good things for America.
But let’s dig a little deeper.
Any random dictionary might say any or all of the following;
1. To consecrate; To make holy by religious rite; sanctify.
2. To make the sign of the cross over so as to sanctify.
3. To invoke divine favor upon.
4. To honor as holy; glorify: Bless the Lord.
5. To confer well-being or prosperity on.
6. To endow, as with talent.
Now lets have a little history lesson.
The word bless occurs in no other language other than in our English, That’s right folks; we made this word up, we created this word.
The irony of the English language is that we seem to be under the impression that we can just make up words and attach meanings to them to convey the same meanings of words from other languages or ancient languages, that existed in the past, but that are in reality two completely different things and have completely different meanings.
The word bless originates from the old English and the originally meaning meant; to mark with, or sprinkle with blood.
Online Etymology Dictionary states…
O.E. bletsian, bledsian, Northumbrian bloedsian "to consecrate, make holy," from P.Gmc. *blothisojan "mark with blood," from *blotham "blood" (see blood). Originally a blood sprinkling on pagan altars. This word was chosen in O.E. bibles to translate L. benedicere and Gk. eulogein, both of which have a ground sense of "to speak well of, to praise," but were used in Scripture to translate Heb. brk "to bend (the knee), worship, praise, invoke blessings." Meaning shifted in late O.E. toward "to confer happiness, well-being," by resemblance to unrelated bliss. No cognates in other languages.
It was around the year one thousand, that the meaning shifted, from; to mark with, or to sprinkle with blood; to, "to confer happiness, or well-being".
But note where it says (Originally a blood sprinkling on pagan altars ;)
Also take notice of (This word was chosen in O.E. bibles to translate L. benedicere and Gk. eulogein, both of which have a ground sense of "to speak well of, to praise,")
OK so we have a similar word from the Greek that means to "to speak well of”, or “to praise,"
Now let’s consider the Hebrew meaning and its use in the Old Testament.
As noted in the above explanation of its origin and definition from the Online Etymology Dictionary; the Hebrew word “brk” or “barak” means a position of posture; to bend one’s knee in worship and praise to God,
In other words; to adore on bended knee; to worship on bended knee; praising god, halleluiah; boasting and lifting up the name of the lord, if used in its proper context.
It was a lowering or humbling of ones self both in posture and most probably in spirit, in order to adore, worship, praise, and to give honor to the Almighty Himself.
Because of its origin and original meaning it is, and should be a constant, and should not, and does not change, regardless of circumstances or the language and its form of use.
OK, so now we have an understanding of the history and of the background of the word bless…
Now moving on…
We can justify and rationalize the phrase God Bless America in any way we want because of our English language. But now that you know the truth about what you are asking from god “that he bow and humble himself before us, that he praise and honor us, that he worship us as a nation; can anyone that truly wishes to please the almighty and live a godly life ever even consider asking such a thing or sing such a song.
Is this not a form of blasphemy in itself? Is it not the ultimate and only unforgivable sin; Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit? Is it not an abomination to the lord?
If you have followed me this far in the reading I would imagine you are in one of if not more than a few states of mind at this moment. You may shocked in disbelief, or enlightened at your new found knowledge and wisdom, or enraged at what may sound like a far left loony attack on America, or you may just be humored by what I have just written and passively rolling your eyes and thinking ooo brother another religious nut case just popped up on the radar.
However; regardless of what you think of this piece and the example phrase I used (God Bless America) remember also that the word bless is used in many other phrases. And used daily by millions of people all over the world (including the Pope and priests)… bless you my son, (a priest says, every time you confess a sin to a priest in the confession booth) can you imagine if after every sin confessed, he were throwing blood on you through the screen? Gives the phrase a whole new eerie realm huh? Well at least in as far as the true English meaning. God bless you, bless his/ her heart, god bless her/his soul, and the list goes on and on.
So just keep in mind that next time you bless someone or request a blessing on someone or yourself what you are really truly asking for (ya might want to make sure you are wearing a rain coat!!!)
If you can still say that in good conscience; after reading this? Then;
God Ble… uhhh…

For those who would like to join in the fun, becasue of the recent events pertaining to the Holiday tree in the White House and no religious symbols being hung on it, we have decided and I am talking about all Americans who would like to participate. You can get boxes of cards of all kinds at the dollar store or any other inexpensive outlet you want to buy from.
On December 1, 2009, we will be mailing "mailout" as many Christmas cards as we can, being of all kinds of Christmas symbols, Santa's, Snowmen, Snowwomen, Reindeer, Candy Canes, Christian nature, Jewish nature, and and all and as many as each of you would like to send mailed to the OBama family at the White House. I am trying to do about 500, mailing in large envelopes or boxes so the postage is not staggering, doing about 5 a day each day. We know this will also help the U S Postal service, so we are doing something for America at the same time.
Mail all out on Dec 1, 2009, gives all of them time to get to the WH and go through security and all, Christmas stickers, religious stickers, write God Bless on them, write religious verses on them, bu tlet Pres. OBama know we will not let him take our Christianity away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also, if at all possible to make our voices heard just a little more, I am not shopping anywhere that does not recognize the word christmas in some form or fashion. Sears is and if I can do all of my Christmas or Holiday shopping there I will. It will be great to see Sears, an American established company for many many years doing better than all the other stores during the Christmas season.

Subject: White House Christmas Ornaments
Thought you might be interested in this information from the White House. This isn ' t a rumor; this is a fact. We have a friend at church who is a very talented artist. For several years she, among many others, has painted ornaments to be hung on the various White House Christmas trees. The WH sends out an invitation to send an ornament and informs the artists of the theme for the year.
She got her letter from the WH recently. It said that they would not be called Christmas trees this year. They will be called Holiday trees. And, to please not send any ornaments painted with a religious theme.
She was very upset at this development and sent back a reply telling them that she painted the ornaments for Christmas trees and would not be sending any for display that left Christ out of Christmas.
Just thought you should know what the new residents in the WH plan for the future of America . If you missed his statement that "we do not consider ourselves a Christian Nation" this should confirm that he plans to take us away from our religious foundation as quickly as possible. - Blog post

NAIROBI, KENYA, Sep 22 - Achieng is a five-year-old girl who has for the past two weeks been lying in bed suffering from malaria. Her parents and other relatives don’t believe in modern medicine, saying that it opens doors for evil.
Achieng’s condition gets worse and she slips into unconsciousness. Instead of her parents rushing her to hospital, they kneel beside her and pray. By the time they figure out that God also works through people (read doctors), it is a tad too late. Achieng dies.
The above scenario depicts a real life situation in one part of the country. Religious fanatics exist everywhere in the world and Kenya is no exception.
